Append text at the beginning and end of every line using notepad++

Append text at end of each line :

Edit > Find & Replace

Options/Regular expressions: ON

Search for: $

Replace with: text you want to append but pay attention to regular expression symbols

Click Replace All

To avoid messing with regular expression symbols, you can just apped some random text and later repalce it in normal mode.

Add at the beginning:

Search for: ^

Replace with: text you want to add but pay attention to regular expression symbols

Click Replace All

Alternative method: Hold Alt-key and drag through the lines at their beginnings and start type.
