Solved - Autocad mouse click becomes laggy after some time

Problem: Autocad mouse click become laggy after using the program for some time and a restart of Autocad solve the problem, but the lag re-emerge after some time of use. The lag appears when clicking anywhere in the drawing, before the selection window appears there is a small but significant pause in the graphics (i.e. the selection window will not appear immediately after the first click).

Solution: Check if the command line console is undocked/detached. If so, try to turn off the command line console by pressing Ctrl+9 and check if the problem is solved. Alternatvely, drag the command line console to the bottom of the screen (making the console docked) and check whether the lag is gone.
