coreelec libreelec settings won't open

SSH into coreelec, edit the file /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/service.coreelec.settings/oe_settings.xml

You will notice that the config file structure is broken. There is an extra line "<addon_config/>" which doesn't follow the file structure. Simply remove this line, save and reboot coreelec.
